How To Benefit From Hiring A Search Engine Optimization Firm

07.14.2008

Blue Collar SEO is one of my favorite reads. Recently, they wrote an excellent article about hiring SEO professionals. The article is well thought out and discusses basic search engine optimization techniques that any firm should be able to discuss with a perspective client. Best of all, it highlights ethical practices by search engine marketing specialists.

It is important to “avoid a Search Engine Optimization firm that engages in unethical and illegal practices (black hat techniques) just to increase the number of visitors to your sites” and “avoid a Search Engine Optimization firm that is vague about how it is going to optimize your website.”

The same goes for any Adult Copywriting or Adult Search Engine Optimization firm, they should have nothing to hide; their processes should be transparent and marketing strategy clearly laid out. They should also provide you with a monthly updates and data analysis as part of any on going plan.

Successful Search Engine Optimization

07.01.2008

SEO is an acronym for “search engine optimization”. It is the process of analyzing your potential design and problems for search engines indexing and positioning. In other words, making your web site and its content attractive, relevant and visible to search engines and web searchers.

There is nothing worse than having a beautiful web site with excellent content that can’t be found!

Before you begin optimizing your website, remember the following are SEO spam techniques:

  • Automatically generated doorway pages
  • Cloaking and false redirects
  • Keyword stuffing
  • Hidden text or hidden links
  • Pages with irrelevant words
  • Duplicated content on multiple pages
  • Misspelling of well-known web sites
  • Unrelated and centralized link farms
  • Black hat SEO techniques

If you use one of the above techniques, you might get short term results, but it’s most likely that your site will be banned from search engines, and therefore you will put your business at severe risk.

Target Your Efforts
Target a search term on the page. If you want to be found for your keyword, make sure that term is on the page you want to rank. The term should be in the page title and in your description.

Get other sites to “link” back to you. This is one of the most important factors Google considers when ranking sites

If you blog, blog often. This can help you get links.

Don’t be afraid to use tools! Use Google Webmaster Tools and create a text-based sitemaps.

Don’t over do it and don’t stuff your pages full of keywords. You will not be successful.

The Importance of Title Tags

06.10.2008

Title tags are the simplest and most effective way to increase page ranks, search engine placement and website traffic.

We have all have performed Google searches. What websites come up when you Google a term like “Los Angeles Escorts” or “Foot Fetish Porn”?

The #1 result for “foot fetish porn” is FootFetish.org:

Foot Fetish Porn - Update every day

Foot Fetish Porn. Foot fetish sites. 1.Foot fetish cult, 2.Foot Series, 3.Bare Fott Fetish,

4.Sweet Feet, 5.I Love FootJob. 6.Footjob Movies, 7. footfetishporn.org/

The #1 result for “Los Angeles escort” is the Eros Guide:

Los Angeles Escorts, BDSM, Massage and More! - Eros Guide to Los

Find Los Angeles escorts, Los Angeles Shemales, independent and escort agencies and more on the Eros Guide to Los Angeles

Adult Entertainment.

Notice that the keyword term you search for is in the title and in the description (the first 160 characters) of the website. Don’t neglect your title tags, the are the first step in successful SEO.

Hint: Making it a sentence structure, like EROS did.

Three Adult Marketing Mistakes

06.07.2008

I spend a lot of time on adult webmaster forums and reading articles; what I found has reinforced what I believe is wrong in properly marketing adult pay sites, escort sites and online stores.

1. An adult website can’t properly market itself or achieve its goals because there is an issue with its content.

When adult entertainers and webmasters launch new sites, there is usually too much content. There are thousands of photos and movies that cover multiple genres - foot fetish, amateur porn, water sports, erotica and lesbian themes, etc. All of this content on one site is wrong. There is no focus and there are too many things going on to effectively market the site and achieve top search engine placement. Can you image the list of short and long tail keyword terms a site like this? It would be the longest title tag in the universe, guaranteed to wrap around the Earth at least twice. Therefore, there can be no real success.

Constant State of Updating

06.03.2008

I sit and listen to Alicia Keys that majority of the day. Her music moves me through my day. I am sorry I have been tardy on the posting but have been working hard to write some thoughtful, insightful posts that will help individual adult entertainers and adult businesses. There is a lot out there and I want to make sure my contributions are positive and enlightening while maintaining my frank humor.

Moving My Marketing Blog to CallieSimms.net

05.04.2008

Greetings and Welcome to my new blog web presence. I first, I though I would keep my adult industry blog and marketing writing seperate, well that’s just to time consuming. So I am moving the content here. I huge step for me.

What I write here will be content related to my books and trends in the adult entertainment industry. It is specifically geared towards adult business marketing and development. I believe that adult businesses and their strategies lead mainstream business & their marketing strategy development. And if a mainstream company develops something first, we aren’t afraid to say, “Cool Beans, but I can jack that make it work even better.”Why? Because the Adult industry tends to have more finances allot to experimental production (to see if something will take or not - how do you think such niche markets like BALL BUSTING developed) and the capacity to test things to see if they work or not. The best adult producers shouldn’t be afraid to pioneer new film style and to try something new. Sometimes, you just don’t know what will POP and catch on. Perfect example, my Studio Erotica productions and online videos, the amount of distribution and popularity of my foot fetish movies are just amazing, my largest markets being in England and Tokyo (who knew!?!?). So go ahead and try something new, and hopefully I my work and writing will help you achieve that.
