Delving into The Adult Industry
Facebook, Stumble Upon and Twitter have been invaluable to me in making new contacts, finding people to work with and even getting some “special requests” (insert evil grin and snort here). I am surprised at the amount of mainstream men and women who want to work on the business side of the industry. I am talking about design, eCommerce, DVD authoring, writing, direction, development, etc. The trend that I saw emerging a few years ago is really starting to take hold, adult work is not taboo, it is a coo. So get involved!
This post is for anyone interested in the Adult Entertainment Business and need to do the research, the following sites will help you discover the adult world and find out if developing a career in it is right for you.
Note: These are my choices and industry standard. There is a lot of crap and get rich quick out there, that is not the goal for a successful, lucrative adult business.

What is success? There are two types of success, corporate success and personal success.
The majority of people measure success by the amount in their bank account and by financial gain. It scares me when people measure success only by corporate coos, money in the bank and material possessions. But life is not just about work, climbing corporate ladders and making money. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t discourage this sort of success. These things are the rewards for brilliant ideas and not being afraid of trying new things. Creative solutions create new market space. But it is only a part, you can have all the money and material possessions in the world and still have unfulfilled desires. So let’s talk about the other type of successful people.
There are people measure success how they have enriched their life with friends and fulfilling their desire to see the last foreign place on their life’s “to see list”. Even though they may not be rich, these people have a lot of personal success. People who have personal success don’t generally focus on professional success at all times, they take time out for themselves and use all their vacation. They make sure and compartmentalize work life and family life. They take mental breaks and nurture themselves with time and meditation (regardless of religion). Some even just work as much as they need in order to go on their next adventure.
When someone can combine personal and professional success, they have figured out the equation and have achieved the goal of work and life balance.

More and more ladies in sex work are using stock photos or stealing photos from others in their advertisements .
Why do women not use real photos of themselves? Well, for a variety of reasons.
- Some women have multiple identities, they can wear a wig for one persona and then be themselves, but when it comes to more than one alter, then they have to use photography that is dramatically similar to them.

Branding, Your Image…and Shoes?
Its Spring, and spring means new photos and scaling up your web presence.
When building your brand name, one of the most important things to consider is IMAGE.
Your image conveyed through the photographs, video and audio on your website directly affects the type of client that you attract.
Before you buy outfits for a shoot, consider what the purpose of the photographs and video are, as these are a working girl’s #1 asset in her business.
You should look at other escort sites, but only for ideas (sometimes ideas of what not to do). And from just a little bit of research, most ladies have photos that look like everyone else’s; poses, lingerie and facial expressions. Do your best NOT to imitate that. Go for creating originality. I know, this seems a bit difficult, but I guarantee you can do it.
