A Review of EscortSite.com

I will keep this short and sweet. I have learned through the webmaster grapevine that The Erotic Review and BigDoggie.net are going to be banning all websites in the Rare-Escorts.com group. For the past few weeks, I have seen advertising on Date-Check, BigDoggie and a plethora of other sites for EscortSite.com, a highly customizable “free” escort web hosting service. . EscortSite.com is not something new, it is actually owned and developed by the RARE-ESCORTS conglomerate to step up their appeal. While Some people love them, but I don’t. I created a fake test site and played around with it awhile, just to see how great it would actually be. But to my dismay, it was just a better interface for the same crappy site. Here are my complaints:

1. The back end structure of EscortSite.com is a nightmare, it is confusing and poorly designed. How many times do you have to click, add, edit, and create to make a page?
2. The user interface is even more atrocious, the new publishing platform is a combination of the worst social networks (SLOWER than MySpace) and a hodge podge version of Wordpress. How can you make something that is poetry a D-list script?
3. The way that content is organized and modified is difficult for a basic user. Even a person with a basic knowledge of CSS and HTML will find it confusing.
4. There is no dedicated URL. Instead of - http://www.UglyAssSite.Rare-Escort.com, you now have http://UglyAssSite.EscortSite.com.
5. The site - http://UglyAssSite.EscortSite.com doesn’t allow you to have http://www.UglyAssSite.EscortSite.com. Ummm - who doesn’t allow WWW?
6. SEO is incredibly hard. These sites limit you to banner exchanges and links.
7. There is advertising you don’t want! It should be an escort’s choice what sites are linked on her sites, not the company that hosts it.
8. Why do these sites have low Alexa rankings? By link scams. Traffic doesn’t mean quality and it doesn’t mean high search engine rankings. There is a huge difference between quality traffic strategies and get indexed quick scams.

You can create one, but it is no different than a Rare-Escort.com site. But it will hurt your marketing and business growth efforts.

   However, some of the statements are not true.
   Also the system has been improved by a lot in the last few months.
